But I remember a lot of fun associated with answering machines .. there was a period (between 1995 and 1996 I think) where we ended up at a friend's house (with xe Pierpaolo like you?) did with the first modem and telephone pranks from your computer, recording calls, or by starting pieces conversations pre-recorded .. (I created a personal socio-psychological experiment on the possibility to predetermine the outcome of a conversation between an unsuspecting partner and a series of pre-recorded messages from an operator)
In those days there was no caller ID, and then could get away with it easily enough:) Well
dialing a random number you gave life to a world that is different: we were once technical telecom (50 minutes to ask an old woman of color who had the phone), a sometimes supplier for Slimfast Bart Simpson to get the jokes ("Hello there Mutani Dina?"
